NEWASA, NEWESD 101

On February 21, 2019, Ronald E. Farley, along with Travis Hanson, Superintendent of the Deer Park School District, gave a presentation to the Northeast Washington Association of School Administrators concerning issues surrounding rights to privacy and the obligations under public disclosure laws as they relate to the use of video surveillance on school property.  The presentation was based on the collaboration between Mr. Farley and Mr. Hanson in helping the Deer Park School District develop policy and procedures relating to that district's use of video surveillance.


The Rural Alliance

On February 4, 2019, Ronald E. Farley spoke to this group of education leaders representing rural schools and school districts in Eastern Washington.  The presentation covered a number of important topics that all schools will be facing in the near future.  The presentation was followed by a round table discussion featuring questions and answers on topics of interest to the attendees.

Ronald E. Farley moderated this day long seminar presented by the National Business Institute in Spokane, Washington, on December 4, 2018.  


This seminar addressed the means for schools and school districts to mitigate  liabilities related to Technology, Violence, Free Speech, Special Education and more.
